Some Straight Talk About Public Relations
Coastal
Public Relations Group is comprised of experienced practitioners with
wide-ranging expertise from traditional publicity, special event and media
relations initiatives to complex and challenging engagements involving
bankruptcy, environmental matters, regulatory relations, community relations and
controversy in many different forms.
Each member of the account service staff at Coastal is an experienced
communicator, adept at all forms of classic communications -- communications
activities that result in effective dialogue enabling our clients to achieve
their objectives. Those objectives may include generating media attention of
client activities, creating web site inquiries, bringing people to special
events, enabling constituents to understand the client's side of the story or --
in some cases -- no response at all.
Given the depth of expertise on our staff, there are few situations that we have
not encountered, but we clearly recognize each client challenge is unique unto
itself. We have no standard answers, no quick fixes, but we do commit to
learning each client's objectives and then developing programs that will help
our clients achieve their desired results in a cost-effective and timely
fashion. Our fee for service structure is flexible. We have no minimum fees, nor
do we expect long term commitments or retainers. Also, the Coastal staff members
you see during "courtship" are the same people you will work with throughout the
engagement.
We do our very best to partner with our clients since we recognize the mutual
benefit of success.
A few
final comments.
Public relations is a service business and that service must be provided when it is needed. Very often that means outside what many consider the normal workday. We know that and always respond appropriately.
Our clients will not always hear what they want to hear from us, but they will always hear what they must.
There are no substitutes for honesty and hard work, we will never sacrifice either.
If our
approach to public relations makes sense to you, please contact us so we can
discuss how we may be able to help. There is no obligation for that.
